Bob Howard began his professional real estate career working for American Airlines in New York City in 1971. He has been a part of the central Illinois real estate community since 1977 when he began his career in commercial real estate serving as CFO and Senior VP of Development for Jumer Hotels and Casinos where he worked for 14 years. In 2004 Bob and his business partner acquired the commercial real estate office of REMAX Unlimited. Bob has over 30 years of experience behind him with prominent knowledge in office/medical leasing and sales. He has extensive experience in all phases of real estate including municipal bond offerings, tax increment financing, urban development action grants, buyer/tenant & seller/lessor representation and property development.

Bob has earned many top production awards including the Chairman's Circle Award and was recognized by Prudential Real Estate as the Number Four commercial sales agent in the country. In 2009 he was the Number Two REMAX commercial agent in his region. He is a 1969 graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Science and a 1971 graduate of Syracuse University School of Management with a MBA in Finance.

Bob's professional activities and affiliations include membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors and the Peoria Association of Realtors where he serves as Chairman of the commercial group. His personal activities include active involvement in Rotary International and as a volunteer & board member for several Peoria area not-for-profit groups including the Heart of Illinois Red Cross and as treasurer of local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Representative clients include Cullinan Properties, Ltd, Robert Morris University, Chase Bank, Huber Brothers, Wal-Mart, L R Nelson, Comcast Spotlight and numerous health care organizations.

Bob and his wife Bonnie live in East Peoria and have four grown children and five grand children. He enjoys traveling, kayaking and home restoration.
